How to Choose the Hair Length

How to Apply Tape in Hair Extensions

1. Separate a part of your hair horizontally just around your ears.
2. Make sure a section has been selected.
3. Tape one piece of hair extensions under sectioned hair about 1/4 inch from the scalp, and peel the tape cover off.
4. Use a comb through the tape area and make sure it is flat.
5. Take a second tape hair piece strip and press it firmly towards the under pieces.
6. Apply pressure with fingers for 5-10s to secure two tape wefts held together.

Tips of How to Care Hair

• Do not comb or brush the hair extensions while the hair is wet. Never sleep with wet hair extensions.

• Never use any products containing oil, alcohol, or ethanol as this can damage the hair extensions and also wear down the adhesive. Try your best to use sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner as well as 100% natural hair products to keep hair extensions in good condition.

• When working out with hair extensions or swimming with hair extensions, be sure to remove excess sweat and chlorine after working out.

• When using hot tools be sure to use a heat-protectant spray! The more you use heat on your hair, the shorter the lifespan of the hair extensions.

• When using serums or oils avoid contact with the tape, use on mid-length to ends only.

Q: Can I shower with tape in extensions?

A: After your tape in hair extensions are applied, be sure to wait 48 hours before washing your hair. The adhesive will have been given adequate time to adhere to your natural hair, making them last longer and hold tighter. When you need to shower in those first two days, use a shower cap.

Q: Can I sleep with tape in hair extensions?

A: Tape in hair extension is a semi-permanent method. You can sleep comfortably with them. The tapes are soft and thin which doesn't make them uncomfortable for you to sleep with.

Q: Will the tape in method damage my own hair?

A: Toner, glitter spray, dry shampoo, and other hair products can damage the adhesive if too much builds up along the tape. Products that use alcohol and oil should be avoided. These ingredients can damage the adhesive if applied in any amount. You also should avoid applying conditioner to your roots.
